2016 Bottecchia Bikes/ DUAL PIVOT BRAKES (DPB)

Back in 2015 Bottecchia introduced Dual Pivot Brakes to two new models The T1 Tourmalet and the EMME3 GARA. The DPB or also know as Direct Mount Brakes, increase braking force by 20% over standard model single bolt mounted brakes. 

The 2016 Custom Build Bottecchia EMME3 GARA can be order with either DPB system or as a Disc enabled system. One of two models which Bottecchia offers this option, know as MULTI PERFORMANCES BRAKES SYSTEM

The third and new for 2016 is the T2 DOPPIA CORSE which like the EMME3 GARA is as Multi Performances Brakes System

The Bottecchia T2 DOPPIA CORSE is being raced in 2016 by AREA ZERO PRO TEAM  using the DPB or Direct Mount Brakes. The T1 and T2 Bottecchia bikes are available in North America this year,

New 2016 Bottecchia FEDAIA All Mountain Bike Details

New to the Bottecchia Reparto Corse line is the All Mountain FEDAIA 27.5. The FEDAIA is being raced by the Bottecchia Factory Team in 2016

The FEDAIA rear suspension system is handled by ROCK SHOX Monarch XX with 160mm of travel. The FEDAIA was designed for arduous mountain routes as well as climbing with excellent power transfer.  

The front end of the FEDAIA is handled by the ROCK SHOX PIKE 27.5 

The FEDAIA is designed with Asymmetric Stays. The front trapezoid of the frame has CNC aluminum and carbon link built with sealed bearings. 

Another unique feature of the FEDAIA is the ability to accept 12mm quick release or Thru Axel wheels by simply changing the drop out

The frame design  of the FEDAIA is composed of UD Carbon with a Press Fit 92 BB at a weight of 2680g.
